$20,000 To Win King Of The Wing At Arrowhead Speedway Nearing 100 Entries

COLCORD, Okla. (March 24, 2026) Less than two weeks away from the start of the King of the Wing at Arrowhead Speedway, featuring the AmeriFlex Hose and Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series, the entry list for the $20,000 to win affair is nearing the century mark.

Riddled with some of Sprint Car racing’s best, the likes of former Chili Bowl Nationals Champion, and recent Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing race winner, Tanner Thorson, POWRi National Midget Champion, Zach Daum, and six-time ASCS National Tour Champion, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., are among the drivers registered so far

Allowing both the Champ Sprint (368cid with 500cfm carburetor) and the RaceSaver (mechanically injected 305cid) engine package, that has allowed for a very diverse field, and some of IMCA’s best drivers to complete. Teams should review all OCRS rules before arriving at the track. Rules are posted at https://www.ocrsracing.net/rules.

Sitting at 97 entries, the list includes drivers from 15 states and 73 municipalities. Former IMCA RaceSaver National Champions, Tyler Drueke and John Ricketts, are entered, plus RaceSaver Nationals Champions, John Carney II, and Andy Shouse, plus Drueke, who has topped the Eagle Raceway crown jewel event three times.

For the AmeriFlex Hose and Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series, Emilio Hoover leads the charge as the tour’s defending champion, along with names like Danny Smith, Alex Sewell, Zach Chappell, and Sean McClelland among the current roster.

King of the Wing takes place at Arrowhead Speedway with practice on Thursday, April 2, before prelim action hits the track on Friday, April 3, with multiple $1,000 to win feature events using passing points to determine the Top 12 drivers who will lock into the $20,000 to win, $1,000 to start A-Feature on Saturday, April 4.

Those locked in will qualify to determine their starting spots, with the remainder of the field racing in through Last Chance Qualifiers.

Both nights, Pits open at 12:00 P.M. and Grandstands at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. (CDT) and racing to follow. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military with ID, and free for kids 10 and under. Pits are $40 per day for all ages.
