No OCRS rule changes for 2022
by John Rittenoure, TULSA, Okla. (January 13, 2022) - Co-owners Kerry Gorby and Terry Mattox have decided there will be no changes to rules for the 2022 AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Car series season.
“After further thought and consideration, we decided not to change any rules for 2022," said Mattox.
“We had a stellar 2021 with great car counts and averages. As we enter 2022 we want to continue to ride the success and not make any rule changes.”
This decision comes after some discussions at the recent awards banquet indicated rules changes were coming.
“Kerry (Gorby) and I (Terry Mattox) did tell a few drivers that a few things were going to change in 2022 with the rules, but after talking it out we have decided in the best interest of the series we not make any changes.”
