OCRS back in action this weekend
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (August 17, 2021) - Summer break is over for the AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars who return to action for two shows this weekend.
Two-time winner Danny Wood of Norman took over the series points lead a month ago and holds a slim 64-point lead over IMCA Oklahoma points leader Joe Bob Lee of Cache.
The weekend gets underway on Friday with a trip to Kansas and a stop at Humboldt Speedway for the first time since June 12, 2020 where Terry Easum raced to victory.
Friday’s show will pay $1,000-to-win. Non-qualifiers earn $200 and $100 goes to heat race winners. Race time is 8 p.m.
Saturday the AmeriFlex / OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars travel to Nevada Speedway in Nevada, Missouri. On May 12, 2020 Casey Wills raced to victory.
Saturday’s feature winner will earn $1,500-to-win and $300-to-start. Non-qualifiers earn $200 and $100 goes to heat race winners. Race time is 7:30 p.m.
The Hard Charger from Friday and Saturday will earn $200 each night and $100 to the driver leading the most A-Feature laps.

Pits open: 5 p.m., Pill Draw: 6-6:30, Drivers Meeting: 6:45, Hot Laps: 7:15,Race Time: 8.
Mufflers: Open Headers.

Pits open: 4 p.m., Pill Draw: 5:45-6:15, Drivers Meeting: 6:30, Hot Laps: 7, Race Time: 7:30.
