A Record Setting Finish for Michael
The final OCRS racing weekend for 2013 began at the West Siloam Springs Speedway. Starting third in his heat, Michael quickly dispatched the 2nd place car and set his eyes on the leader (2013 Series Champion, Harli White). After catching up with her, both drivers dueled the rest of the race with Michael finishing 2nd; this tied his previous high finish (also in a heat race). Starting 2nd in the "A" Feature, Michael and the BiGFooT Team was ready for a competitive race. He took the early lead and led for over half of the race. "Driving it like he stole it", Michael gave it everything he had to lead the race and compete for the win. Towards the end of the race, the rear tires gave way as the track took rubber. Despite the car shaking violently, Michael held on for his first "Top 5" finish in an "A" Feature, finishing 4th.
