OCRS retains 360 2-barrel engine rules for 2020

TULSA, Oklahoma (August 21, 2019) - After reviewing options pertaining to the future of the Ameriflex / Oil Capital Racing Series owner-promoter Kerry Gorby has made the decision to continue with the current rules package for the 2020 season.

There had been discussions about allowing Racesaver 305 engines to race with OCRS. That will not happen. Ameriflex / OCRS will continue with as a 360 cubic inch 2-barrel sprint car series with no engine rule changes for 2020. The 305 engine will not be allowed.

The Ameriflex / OCRS will continue to use the current 3 x 5 top wing in 2020. Also, saftey rules have been updated (back to 2018 wording) to reflect what is required to race with OCRS.

Effective immediately Gorby has assumed the duties as Race Director and will manage all race day operations.
